here i lie, longing to be

a home in you i see

alas! with you no where to be found

look outside,

autumn is paying us a visit

on its honeysuckle feet

as the trees reach like glowing embers

and the ethereal fog breezes by the sea

our kisses travel back to where they belong

by the pier

look outside,

winter is here

staining your lips with gray words

i wander far

away from the city's sound

have you forgotten?

a flower i am, in your arms

waiting to be kissed

for our souls are united

under the starry sky,

with you by my side

my sailor - a home to my home

i will gladly die

a home in me, you hold

never to wander again

here we lie, in each others arms

never to be separated
